About Tonya LaShun
This book was born after years of chaos, trauma, and repeated cycles — different men, different faces, different heights, different zodiac signs, but always the same story.
At some point, I had to pause and ask myself a harder question:
Why do the patterns keep showing up?
I knew I couldn’t be the only person navigating this kind of emotional turmoil. So I did what I always do when clarity feels out of reach — I wrote. I wrote to understand. I wrote to confront myself. I wrote to apply what I was learning back to my own life and make the changes that needed to be made.
What I discovered is that awareness changes everything.
As I reflected, re-read, and realigned, it became clear that the lessons I was learning weren’t mine alone. They were universal. Familiar. Shared. This classroom was never empty — the classmates were simply hidden.
Tassel on the Right, Graduated from the Bullsh*t is an invitation to step out of hiding, sit beside me, and examine the choices we keep making. Not with judgment — but with honesty. Not to shame the past — but to graduate from it.
This isn’t about blame.
It’s about responsibility.
And it’s about choosing differently once you know better.
Meet the author
Tonya LaShun is a reflective writer who explores emotional patterns, personal accountability, and the quiet work of growth. Her writing is rooted in lived experience, observation, and the belief that awareness changes how we choose — and how we move forward.
Tassel on the Right, Graduated from the Bullsh*t is her debut book, written for readers who are ready to stop repeating cycles and start asking better questions of themselves. Through reflection rather than instruction, Tonya invites readers to pause, examine their choices, and graduate from what no longer serves them.
She writes with honesty, clarity, and intention — not to tell people who to be, but to encourage them to see themselves more clearly.
